PB Tankers S.p.A. is pleased to announce that is has received formal notification of the effective award of the contract for the ship management of the Research Vessel “Laura Bassi”, owned by the Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS).
The contract shall be executed with the help of the R.T.I. Oceano, to which, in addition to PB Tankers S.p.A., MAMA Shipping Sarl of Montecarlo and the Maltese Company Monegle are participating.

Barbaro has acquired Seapride I, which has been converted into an FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading unit) for the Rospo Mare oil field, for approximately 25 million USD. This unit employed as a temporary storage supports offshore drilling activities.
The ship is in the Adriatic Sea, about 20 km offshore Vasto.
