{"id":12868,"date":"2016-07-01T17:27:42","date_gmt":"2016-07-01T15:27:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pbtankers.com\/it\/\/?p=12868"},"modified":"2016-07-28T14:38:50","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T12:38:50","slug":"pb-tankers-fleet-low-risk-paris-mou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pbtankers.com\/it\/pb-tankers-fleet-low-risk-paris-mou\/","title":{"rendered":"PB Tankers is &#8220;low risk&#8221; for Paris MoU"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<h4><strong>PB Tankers achieved \u201cHigh Performance\u201d Company Status in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parismou.org\/inspections-risk\/ship-risk-profile\" target=\"_blank\">Paris MoU PSC targeting system<\/a>.\u00a0The company&#8217;s\u00a0fleet is now \u201cLOW RISK\u201d.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Thanks to the excellent results of the last three years of Port State Control inspections in the Paris MoU\u00a0area (Europe, Russia and Canada), PB Tankers achieved the status of \u201c<strong>High Performance<\/strong>\u201d Company.<\/p>\n<p>This goal could be achieved after in-depth analysis and evaluations, during which PB Tankers&#8217;s fleet received\u00a0an average of <strong>0.9 deficiencies per inspections<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>no detentions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cHigh Performance\u201d Status is particularly important since it represents the\u00a0last requirement\u00a0<strong>to meet\u00a0the\u00a0highest\u00a0standard for vessels within the Paris MoU<\/strong>, which is \u201c<strong>LOW RISK SHIP<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Today, all PB Tankers vessels engaged in international trading are considered \u201c<strong>LOW RISK SHIPS<\/strong>\u201d. As such,\u00a0they get the highest level of trust by European Authorities and shall be targeted for inspection only once\u00a0every three years.<\/p>\n<p>This excellent result it is part of PB Tankers&#8217;s <a href=\"\/how-we-operate\/\">continuos\u00a0effort\u00a0to\u00a0identify and assess all risks<\/a> associated to ship\u2019s operations and establish proper safeguards against them.\u00a0Flying\u00a0flags that are ranking at the top\u00a0of \u201cwhite list\u201d and cooperating\u00a0with technical\u00a0partners, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rina.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\">RINA <\/a>(also\u00a0awarded as High Performance Organisation by Paris MoU), are all\u00a0strategic\u00a0decisions that helped PB Tankers\u00a0reached this achievement<span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MoU)\u00a0<\/span>consists of 27 participating maritime Administrations and covers the waters of the European coastal States and the North Atlantic basin from North America to Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The Mission of Paris MoU is to\u00a0eliminate\u00a0the operation of sub-standard ships through a harmonized system of port State control.<\/p>\n<p><span>PB Tankers is a company of the <\/span><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pietrobarbaro.com\/\">Pietro Barbaro Group<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>that o<span>wns and operates a fleet of medium range (MR) tankers, built and managed according to the <a href=\"\/how-we-operate\/\">highest standards of quality, reliability and safety<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PB Tankers achieved \u201cHigh Performance\u201d Company Status in the Paris MoU PSC targeting system.\u00a0The company&#8217;s\u00a0fleet is now \u201cLOW RISK\u201d.
