{"id":11325,"date":"2016-02-11T19:32:46","date_gmt":"2016-02-11T18:32:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pbtankers.com\/it\/\/?p=11325"},"modified":"2016-07-28T14:28:08","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T12:28:08","slug":"pietro-barbaro-group-and-rosneft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pbtankers.com\/it\/pietro-barbaro-group-and-rosneft\/","title":{"rendered":"Pietro Barbaro and Rosneft to Jointly Enter Global Shipping Markets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rosneft and Pietro Barbaro Group have signed a joint venture (JV) agreement for international\u00a0shipping.\u00a0The joint venture will significantly increase the efficiency of the logistics division of Rosneft and\u00a0represents a new successful partership for the Group Pietro Barbaro.<!--more-->Rosneft, a leader in the oil industry in Russia, and Pietro Barbaro Group, a key player in the\u00a0marine transportation of oil, strengthen their strategic partnership with the signing of a\u00a0Memorandum of Understanding, in order to set up a JV in the field of international transportation\u00a0of oil products.\u00a0The two companies have decided to strengthen their cooperation in order to realize a common\u00a0project created by the joint analysis of the sector of transportation of oil products by sea and\u00a0river waterways.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are glad about the effective extension of the cooperation with Pietro Barbaro: following our\u00a0partnership in Russia, we are planning a joint approach to global markets. The Joint Venture will\u00a0allow significantly boosting the efficiency of our logistics division; create additional marketing\u00a0opportunities for our products in high-margin markets\u201d \u2013 Igor Sechin, CEO Rosneft.<br \/>\nThe Barbaro family is one of the few active Italian shipowners that for almost two centuries has\u00a0been involved in the marine transport and logistics sector.
